Lead Bean Counter

I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky where I graduated from University of Kentucky with my bachelors degree in accounting and then got my CPA license. I get the opportunity to lead an awesome team of bean counters that you see below. I am passionate about serving individuals and small businesses in the areas of tax and accounting (its not as boring as it sounds I promise). Outside of counting beans I love spending time with my wife Mindy and our two cats. We both get the opportunity to lead students at Southland Christian Church and have loved building a community here in Georgetown. If I am not doing any of the above, there is a pretty good chance you will find me in the woods hunting whatever is in season!

Mindy Bailey

I grew up in Sadieville, Kentucky and graduated from WKU where I earned my bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. I practiced in the field for 6 years before switching careers into this current role at Bluegrass Bean Counter. I am married to the Boss (Brooks) 6 years and counting. It’s a blessing to be able to work alongside my husband in building our dreams together. When I am not at the office you will find me hanging out with my cats, walking outside, and spending time with my friends and family.

Kelsie Brockmann

Bookkeeper

Hey, I’m Kelsie. I have a degree in Elementary Education but went back to school for Accounting. I’m originally from Northern Kentucky and moved to Georgetown with my husband a few years ago. If not working you can usually find us playing outside with our daughter and dog, reading at the library or running all the back roads this small town has to offer!

Anthony Thomas, J.D.

Tax Accountant

I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Business in 2012 with a B.S.B.A. in Accountancy. After graduating, I went to law school at the University of Kentucky College of Law. While there I specialized in tax law while deepening my understanding in business law and estate planning issues. This knowledge will help resolve tax questions and issues that you may face in an individual or business capacity.

When not in the office or counting beans, I love being outdoors with my wife, Mary Elissa, and our dog, Kuru. When we aren’t out fishing, hiking, or camping you can catch us traveling to see concerts for our ever-growing list of favorite bands or hanging out at one of the many lakes throughout the bluegrass.

Hey, we are Ollie & Freebrecio Bailey. We are currently growing up in Sadieville, KY. When we aren’t putting in hard time refining the art of napping you will likely find us in the woods hunting small game. We appreciate the work/life balance this position offers as it really allows us to fine tune our hunting skills.
